American Airlines released Android app

Another new android application for android users has release and this time it comes form well known company The American Airlines. In fact this is already introduced to the Owners of iPhones and iPads and they have been downloaded the American Airlines application since July last year.

As the Android Platform is getting much attention in mobile technolgy, American Airlines decide to include  the Android operating system and let the android users experience the fun.According to Monte Ford, American's senior vice president for technology and chief information officer, they observed that nowadays customers are becoming or  increasingly reliant on mobile devices, in that way this make them connected wherever they go.

They do believe that having the right mobile technology can improve their customers and even employees' experience with American Airlines" Ford added "As a result,The strategy for mobile technology is set to aggressive and give focus whatever technology initiative at the company today".

They already tested the Android application with 750 AAdvantage Platinum and Executive Platinum and its up to member now to find out what features which most likely right for them

Since release last July  iPhone/iPod/IPad users have downloaded more than 1 million times.
Lets see if Android users surpasses the download made by its rival platform.
