Nokia Partnership With Microsoft Why Not Android?

Symbian Tycoon, Nokia announced publicly about their partnership with Windows a startegy for nokia's upcoming smartphone. As usual it creates mixed reactions across the net, based on latest stats of Nokia market share, it is deeply affected and declined to  $1.46, or 13% in value.

Partnership with Windows means in a years or months ago, you could expect that majority of Nokia devices will be Windows 7 compliant near future. For now the details of the arrangement have yet to be finalized but started likely to happen as Nokia are taking it quite seriously

While Andorid surpasses iOS as the world’s most recognized mobile operating system, fallback is what Blackberry and Symbian is experiencing right now huge declined.Nokia has to do something about it,they take ts first major step to change its circumstances such as patsnership with Windows, latest announcement about detail planning and strategic partnership in able to build new global mobile ecosystem.

The deal between Microsoft and Nokia is likely to mean the following:

  • Nokia will adopt Windows Phone as its main smartphone strategy, so expect Windows Phone 7-powered Nokia devices
  • Nokia will employ its expertise in hardware design, and language support to help drive the future of Windows Phone
  • Bing will power Nokia’s search services, which is likely to disappoint Google
  • Nokia Maps will become a core part of Microsoft’s mapping services, andwill be integrated with Microsoft’s Bing search engine
  • Nokia’s content and application store will be integrated into the Microsoft Marketplace
If we analyze a bit the "Deal" this would mean Nokia is full ready to intgerate Windows 7 in order for them to get back on track. Thus this will bring serious challenges to leading players like Motorola, HTC, Samsung, and other,Due to Android continious success Nokia phone users globally started to lack of interest in Symbian, for Microsoft they still been struggling to gain market share in order to compete with iOS and Android in the mobile world. Nokia's patrnership with Microsoft produced good vibration and both parties will get benefited for their own established identity as they say "Nokia will benefit from Microsoft’s software expertise while Microsoft will benefit from Nokia’s global reach and market share."

Still Nokia will ilkely continue to have Symbian on them. Symbian will become a franchise business, and Nokia is expected to sell significant numbers before  halting the development it. future will tell if Nokia will be able to reclaim its place at the top of the mobile devices. Some might ask why not Android? well i read in an article that this year Nokia main target is to "kill" Android. This is clear evidence they trully hate android.
