New Android Tablet " Asus EEE Pad Transformer 10.1" coming soon to U.S

Asus makers of various computer parts are now also joining the Android hype. For the start Asus has unveil their new Android powered Tablet run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS and they named it EEE Pad Transformer. It has 10.1 inch tablet and notable for the optional keyboard bundled with it.

Asus define the keyboard as lighter and usable compared to other keyboard docking options due to its flexibility and light weight. Simply detached from the keyboard, and the Tab automatically acts as a 10-1 inch screen with touch sensitive screen for flexible use.

Rear camera is postioned in a flexible manner shooting videos is more enjoyable, while the front camera produce crystal clear video chat sessions. However, when plugged back to the keyboard, it functions as a full-fledged laptop.

Features of EEE Pad Transformer includes such as capability of ten finger touch, Flash supported video viewing and e-booking reading functionality. Connectivity wise the keyboard comes with all standard connectivity options like USB ports and HDMI out port.

The keyboard also act as a power source if you suddenly find your tab running out of power. Thus you can just plug it in and continue enjoying the EEE Pad Transformer experience.



As of now it is only available in Taiwan, and you can can be pre-ordered now. Asus assure that it will soon launch in the US. Although the exact prices of the rig in the US market is yet to be confirmed, the 16 GB version of EEE Pad Transformer is now sale for $500 at Taiwan.

Bundled with the keyboard, adds to $600. Asus said, this 10.1 incher is not the campaign from Asus to challenge iPad2. They will soon launched another two models.
