As we posted earlier about the leaked version of Adobe Flash Player 10.2 for Android device which is now available for download. It is also a pre requisites to first update your Motorola Xoom to system to 3.0.1, to be able to install and enjoy the Adobe Flash Player 10.2. Fortunately if your Xoom is unlocked already you dont need to revert it to get the OTA update,because of this no more hassle preparation is needed to prepare your Honeycomb tablet for latest Flash Player.
But in case you didnt receive the OTA, there is another way of udating the system as we included the instructions and needed file in order for you to Update Motorola XOOM to Android 3.0.1 Manually. Credit goes to koushikdutta who made the instructions written below:
1.Download the update.zip: Motorola XOOM HRI66 Update file.
2.adb push /sdcard/update.zip
3.adb shell
4.su
5.cd /cache
6.mkdir recovery #it may already exist
7.cd recovery
8.echo ‘–update_package=CACHE:/recovery/update.zip’ > command
9.cat /sdcard/update.zip > update.zip
10.reboot recovery
