HTC Sense 3.0 Lockscreen Now Available For Other HTC Android Smartphones

Another great news for the owner of HTC Android smartphone, have you heard the latest HTC Sense 3.0 UI? Well if you've seen already the new HTC Sensation i guess you know what it looks like. A new attractive design Lockscreen, if youre eyeing to get this on your HTC Smartphone well you can get it here. But theres one thing for you to consider to be able to applied it, your phone needs to be rooted and it should be running on HTC Sense 2.1 based Gingerbread ROM. For folks who have rooted HTC Android smartphone a steps is provided below.
 

  A.) Download HTC Lockscreen (Sense 3.0) apk dumped from HTC Doubleshot Sense 3.0
  B.) Apply apk as a normal apk install it’ll update lockscreen No need to flash in a update.zip
  C.)  To install if not showing after installation (Some Ginger Roms): Go to Settings, Display and select Stock Android Lockscreen (depends on rom) then install HTCLockscreen.apk which is attached below (it’ll update previous lockscreen). Once youre done go back to and deselect, new lockscreen should be working now. Remember always do a Backup.

Reminders:

This app is tested only on Gingerbread so its not advised to install it on non gingerbread or aosp rom. Others tried it on some Ginger Roms and it works, some will also need to restart to see it function.

Other method of installing can be done through Root Explorer and copying over the old htclockscreen.apk file then just reboot. Although this may not work in other roms. It is confirmed HTC Sense 3.0 Lockdcreen apk is working on HTC EVO 4G
